Real-time clock - designed for ZX Spectrum as an internal clock with the current date and time. The time is battery-powered. It works with an accuracy of one second. Thanks to RTC, you can more easily measure time or control automation, the on/off of which depends on the clock. Also, the times of creating files on the SD card by the esxDOS system will be consistent with the current clock time. You can also read the time in BASIC with the IN command, and then use it in your program.
Example of using the .date function in BASIC:
Compatible with esxDOS and mass storage modules: devSD, devMMC, devIDE, Just NANO SD. Allows you to program and read the current time using simple BASIC IN and OUT commands.
It is supplied with a driver for esxDOS: RTC.SYS, which allows, among other things, to support correct times when saving files, or the .date command of the esxDOS system.
The device is supplied with a CR2022 battery, programmed for the current time.
Note!
For proper operation, the device must be mounted on a universal Port I/O card - MUMIO dev. #00.
